Broker window (examining items)
 

Hi Gang:

I ove this site! I've downloaded and using at least 6 interface modifications.

REQUEST:
To view an items stats in the broker window you need to right-click and select "examine". Is it possible to create a mod that will allow you to see the item stats by simply selecting the item?

WHY
First, convenience. It woudl be great to just select the item rather than right-click and choose option.

Second, On at least two occasions I've select the "purchase" option instead of the "examine" option. this is a real pain in the butt!

I doubt it's something we can do at the moment. I'd send the development team a /feedback in-game, maybe they'll change the default double-click option.

Best I can do right now is have it examine the item if you highlight it and press the Enter or Escape key.

The UI builder readme mentions "The UI system supports scripted command for the events." for OnActivate, etc, but doesn't mention what script commands are available. If you can have it activate a keypress or a button in the window, then it's doable, otherwise not, but first we have to find the command list.

I'm not a programmer but that does make sense to me. I would disregard my request (would hate to think you devleoped an interface piece based on just one request) but I do think mods for the broker window would be a popular category, I'm surprised there are not more.

Is it possible, maybe, to get the stats of an item by a mouse over of the Broker's items? (similar to mousing over in your own inventory)

Can't do anything with tooltips at the moment either.

Is it possible to make the "Purchase from broker" button an always ask if correct button, like when you destroy something it asks "is this correct"?
