No chat available.
Hey guys, hoping someone can help here. Installed, and tried several mods today, liking what i see. However, somewhere along the line, the ability to chat into chat windows disappeared. I can send whispers. I can see the chats that are going on. However, when i try to type a message in guild chat, nothing appears. Same for general tells, and ooc's. Have since uninstalled the mods, and continue to have the problem. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated, as i do NOT want to uninstall and reinstall, the patching at install took a FULL 24 hours last time i installed.
Thanks, Laz |
Your "window placments" file was most likely corrupted or overwritten.
Look for a file in your EverQuest II directory that looks similar to this one servername_charactername_eq2_uisettings.ini Delete it or back it up then log in game and set it up again manually or by using another characters that works. You will get a prompt to do so when logging in game. |
