Journal (Quests)

Does anyone know if this interface piece must be / will be updated for the LU29? Or if any upgrade is necessary and we can use it as it is?

Both eq2ui_journals_active.xml and eq2ui_journals_quest.xml were updated in the latest update so there is obviously some change.

Which journal mod are you using? Maybe someone has already tested and/or updated the one you are using?

The journal page was updated, but looking at a compare of the two it appears to have undergone no true change.

Although by the looks of it SOE is getting the UIBuilder bug where it changes ampersands (&) to & every time you save it... so if you start out with a double qoute char (") after several saves you get this ugly beast: "

And that doesn't output well ;)

Also found this funny little line in active:

I must find someone who liked "Battlefield Earth". Rumors have it that a blind, deaf savant in Freeport claimed, "It didn't smell bad." That's close enough.

I love the localtext they put there in UIBuilder so you can get an example... it's too funny =)

SageUI Journal has not been updated as far as I know but it still works:

I changed over to the following since it has been updated:

Despite being in the Patches section and claiming the need for another mod to be installed first that is simply not the case. Just download the file and use just as you would any stand-alone mod.

Ty all for replies... acutally i don't remember which mod i used, but it was similar to this one (maybe it was this one)

Maybe i will try to reinstall it and see if it still works.
