EoF Character Select Screen Missing Buttons
 

Since SOE updates the interface so often and I keep fixing it to work over and over, I've decided to go with the least amount of mods possible. (I can't stand those huge default bags). So anyway, I got the black screens to work easily by adding the code to the mainhud and all that but there is one problem I can't seem to fix. Logging into the character select screen only shows the waterfall background and my character. I have to arrow key up and down to choose a character and there is no way possible to create a new character or delete. I disabled my mods to see what it normally is supposed to look like. I saw that it has all the buttons there so looks like when I use my mods that is what I'm missing.

I tried adding these lines to the mainhud but they did nothing:
<include>eq2ui_mainhud_character.xml</include>
<include>eq2ui_newcharscene.xml</include>
<include>eq2ui_newcharscene2.xml</include>

Does anyone know what might be causing the problem?

Make sure you have that, but NOT "eq2ui_newcharscene.xml" included, and then make sure your mods don't have a eq2ui_newcharscene2.xml, and then it should make you use the default UI for that piece.

Thank you. I tried it like that but it still didn't work so then I thought maybe it was the other way around. I deleted eq2ui_newcharscene2.xml and put in eq2ui_newcharscene.xml and it worked! I figured maybe that's what you meant. :D Woot :nana:
