Something else had a lock on the files when you ran the updater. Usually either eq2 was running or you had a zombie version of updater running in the background.

It can't create an MD5 hash from one of the files, usually 'cos it is corrupt. Easiest solution is just to do a download all in the options menu (of course, this will download all the files again so may take a bit of time). The new updater (still in development) will handle this better.
