Display names of spells maintained on a target

I would really like a UI mod that would show the names of the spells on a target. So instead of the little icons representing the spells a target is maintaining the names would also be displayed.

This might sound like an odd request but on a PvP server knowing what buffs your opponent is maintaining would be very helpful. Since in PvP you do not have time to mouse over buffs, I am hoping to be able to see the names of the buffs at a quick glance.

I searched a lot and didn't see anything such as this currently available.

Thanks for your help.

you mean having names in the volume are of the target and impliedtarget windows? i dunno if this is possible...

Yes Anfrey but only in the target window. Im pretty sure it is possible since you can mouse over the small icons and see the spell name. So just would need a edit to show the name rather then having to mouse over it.

Also you would need to be able to turn it off on raids due to the excessive buffs/debuffs on mobs.

Think it is possible? I don't know much about this code but understand generally the concepts and I'm pretty sure since you can mouse over the small icon and see the name, then the info is being transfered to your client. I just need to have it displayed for easy viewing =P

well, as of right now they are being fed as part of a 'volume area'... but with the new changes it seems they'll be fed via an iconbank... i haven't played around with it, but maybe gm9 can elaborate on this, since he's tooled around with the iconbank a bit

True, haven't yet found a way to address the individual icons in an IconBank (have yet to look at it again though :D), so for the future no idea if this is possible at all. However also currently all we can do is copy the tooltip contents to a text field somewhere else, but it would have to be done manually (no event to catch effect updates).
