Fatal errors after installing
 

I loaded Microsoft.NET.Framework version 1.1.4322573 as instructed then loaded EQ2-updater version 1.0.6 setup following instructions but got a fatal error 80004005 when it tryed to run the program I have tryed removing them several times and reinstalling them without success

my system is Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40Ghz // 1GB RAM // WDC WD740GD-00FLAO hard drive // Navidia GeForce 6800GT // Windows XP version 2002 Service Pack2
have read through your list of common problems and solutions and the FAQ/troubleshooting and can not find a solution to my mistake what am I doing wrong ??

Right-click on the updater shortcut on your desktop and go to the "Compatibility" tab and make sure "Run this program in compatibility mode" is not checked.
