UI Settings between different UIs
 

I have a couple of questions actually. I'm just getting back into the game and I know that for a while the /loadui was "broken", has this been fixed? The last time I used it, it crashed the game and completely screwed up my UI that is why I am hesitant to use it again.

To the real question, I know that Ger's UI switcher works for switching UIs but my question is this. If I switched UIs for the same toon, between the default UI and whatever new UI I am trying out will all the settings for each UI be saved? In other words if I set up my default UI the way I like it, then customize a new UI, move windows around, add hotbars etc, will my default UI remain looking like it did before I switched UIs? If I don't like whatever new UI I am trying out, I'd like to be able to go back to my default UI without having to rebuild it.

/loadui is still bugged.

I have no knowledge of Ger's program, but you can backup your uisettings.ini file before switching UI's you can go back to your previous layout.

Thanks for your quick response. So if I manually backup uisettings.ini file then I an switch back and forth while maintaining the layout of my default UI. Sounds pretty easy.
