Fails to Initialize with different error.
 

I am getting "The application failed to initialize properly (0x0000005)" I"ve tried the solutions offered here and tried uninstalling and reinstalling numerous times. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am getting the same error now. It was working fine for me 2 days ago then I had to reformat yesterday. Got EQ2 re-installed today went and installed the auto updating version and get that error.

I am getting the same error ... unistalled and installed with the same error, reinstalled .net framework 1.1 from direct link on this site

did a search of my pc and I have a folder named .NET Framework 2.0, along with a folder just named Framework

I just reinstalled Windows XP and I am getting the same message.
