My fix works on one PC but not my other 3???
 

Ok, I solved this lU27 error YAYY!!

However, I have new issues...

WHY, even after copying the complete UI folder and UI_settings can I NOT get the game to run on my other 3 machines????

I am getting the same error as if I never fixed the files??
I am baffled by this!

I copied the files, everyone of them to the other three machines. ( I have 4 accounts) and the other 3 do not run with the fix at all. Even did a thorough file scan. If I use default they run..

If I delete the custom files I fixed.. they run.

My MAIN machine runs PERFECT with the fixed files. I dont get it.. this si really confusing HELP!

make sure the copied files have the same filesize... since raw text can come in a variety of formats, make sure nothing got lost or altered in the process... i had an issue like this with one of the UI pieces i was using, where my text editor was saving the file in a different format (unicode, rather than dos or unix text) and some information was getting lost and distorted, due to the differences in carriage returns. not sure if this is actually your issue, but worth looking into just in case.

AYe, I have checked.. there are exact. Time/date stamp and size. I did a simple file share on the drive and used it for the copy process. Still baffles me.

BTW, only window giving the problem is my custom Mainhud.Inventory window. Again, it WORKS on my primary machine, just the other 3 machines...it is a no go. I really am stumped.

Well I see that SOE put a patch in for custom windows and the Paperdoll thing. Good, I hope I had a bit of reason for it;)

That means this issue of the other machines is closed. Good :nana:
