icon problem
 

I have been experiencing 2 problems recently with eq maps. First, the Commonlands icons show up on all maps and it gets very confusing. Also, it has been randomly switching to west commonlands even if i am in east common lands still. Any advice? Do i need to just reinstall?

I seem to remember talk in the past about these issues being caused by using the VAM (View All Maps) add-on created by Zonx (Fetish UI author).

The only way(s) I found to fix the overlapping POIs issue is by either camping/relogging back in or zoning.

As far as the map switching on its own part goes, there should be a button on the lower right corner of the window frame (if I remember correctly) that will allow you to set a desired map as the default for the zone. If you're in West Commanlands and you set the map to the corresponding half of the zone, I believe it will automatically set the 'new' map once you head into the Eastern half of the zone.

Yep, that must be it then because I do have Fetish nightfall UI. I did some searching and I didnt find anything on it. Do you recall if there was a fix?

The only long-term 'fix' I can think of is to no longer use it.

Although it can be pretty handy to be able to look at any map for the game regardless your location, I found no real practical use for it. Therefore, I stopped using it, as there is no other fix that I know of.
