QST vs LOC

I have a bunch of POIs marked QST that aren't actually quest starts -- they're just locations involved in a quest. Shall I submit them all for type change?

I'd say no, there are probably hundreds of these already.

Yeah, but it is a shame that in many cases I *go* to a QST point only to find out that there is no quest there. :(

Ummmmmm, yeah hiiiiii.......

Why don't you do what the majority of us probably do, which is researching the quests available for a zone before running cross zone to spot marked on the map only to find out you wasted your time?

Just a thought

The QST icons are not just for quest starters, they are for anything dealing with quest.

So If I go to a zone and need blah blah for a quest, I filter only QST and look. I then find my location and go to it.

The QST text says "preferably only ones that start quests". I know it says "preferably", which is why I'm trying to get a policy decision here.

Most quest locations say in their description what quest they are for, or what quest they start. Don't go to the ones that progress quests that you don't have.

I think some people have gone overboard with these locations though. I really don't think it's necessary to see all 23 locations of the Torches of Forewarning or all those mushroom caps in Nektulos Forest. That's just making a mess.

If its under QST it could be a quest starter or a quest updater. If it starts a quest I'll say, like whys for updates. Now you know.
