It wont let me update it gives me this message everytime i try to download it....

Might i suggest both of you look at the stickied Common Problems (and solutions) FAQ in this forum.

healermann is having network errors. probably your firewall blocking the eq2map updater.

Resurectus looks like you are having regional settings issues. check the FAQ for suggestions how to fix.

Admins may want to add this to the Common Problems thread mentioned before... I was getting a message similar to this set my firewall to allow it... that did not work so i was dinking around... Went to Properties then Compatilbilty (bad spelling i am sure) the there is "Compatibility mode for:" if that is checked uncheck that... mine now works and i am very happy i stumbled across it lol

Can you be more specific? Properties on what? The desktop shortcut?
