EQ2MAP Application looks funny

I've been using EQ2map on my PC for a long time now, it works fine. Recently installed it on my new laptop, and this is what it looks like:

I can resize the window to see the scrollbars on the sides of the news frame, but no amount of fiddling will move the updated zones/files and new zones/files frames down off the news section.

Any ideas what could be causing this and how to fix it?

I dont know but mine looks the same on a Dell XPS2 laptop. I think it might be the widescreen? Ive just sorta dealt with it.

Could be, mine is the Dell XPS widescreen too.
It's not a big deal, just annoying :nana:

Just for additional info, incase someone decided to fix us=P

Running windows xp pro, and use firefox as my default browser. I HAVE had issues with other windows within my system. I am not sure this is a problem with the program so much as a quirk of the XPS.

And this has been a problem since I got the laptop, in july of last year.

in your display properties, under the advanced tab, the DPI setting is set to large (120 DPI) reset to Normal size (96 DPI) to fix this propblem.
This will make your windows text and icons smaller, not the game

What Atlong said. But really, who cares, it still works like that and there is nothing interesting to read on the updater anyway. :)
