Cant download from site anymore :(
 

hi there, i've recently returned to EQ2 and was going to update my UI but cant seem to download from site anymore, just get blank whit page saying forbidden host or summit :eek:
i have no probs downloading from other sites, so i dont understand why i cant
any help appreciated

We would certainly be able to help you with this strange error if you were a bit more specific on it. Just copy+past the error message, or maybe make a screenshot and post it.
"Forbidden" is basically a web server error you get when you either try to access a folder you are not supposed to access (which you did not do), or when a specific IP adress (range) was blocked. Neither of this makes much sense, so I can't really tell what it is with the given information.

One or two things could cause this that I can think of off the top of my head. They are;

1. You are not log into the site
2. The UI was updated and hasn't been approved by a mod yet.

Both of them will result in the forbidden page thing I think you are talking about.

Well a 403 means your IP is blocked but looking at your IP its not on our current list and if it was you shouldnt be able to post on the forums either. Unless your using a different connection to post this. If you are I'll need the IP of your other connection to see what block I have in place is effecting you.
