Map Trouble
 

Hi,

I'm having some trouble with the map in Fetish. In particular the quest icons (orange circles) that show available / completed quests. I can not get them to show regardless of the setting in the options menu.

I have 6.4 installed and am using the Goth theme.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you use EQ2Maps and allowed the program to overwrite the Fetish Maps file, you will need to disallow the program to do that in the future and replace the Fetish Map file again from the zip folder.

Just a follow-up:

• Just Fetish Installed (no EQ2Map Update)- Map Icons Work
• Fetish with Goth Theme (no EQ2Map Update) - Icons do not display
• Fetish with EQ2Map Update - Map Icons Work

Looks like there is something in the Goth Theme that is causing the problem.

I'd have to double-check, but it sounds like the goth theme includes an old version of the icon_map3.dds file that does not have the quest icons.

Try this...
1) install the theme
2 ) open the 6.4 zip
3) manually drag the icon_map3.dds file to the following directory
Everquest II/UI/Fetish/images/icons
4) Replace the file when prompted.
