Blacked Boxes
 

Whever I install any UI, the ui loads (I use the directions, not /loadui). But when I get into the game, I can see the outside of the new UI, but all of the new boxes are blacked out. The directions in the sticky above, did not help.

I do not know what to do :confused:

What interface peices have you downloaded and installed? (link to them).
Are you running EQ2 in a different language?
List step by step how you installed the interface.

This happens with every UI I try, so it has to be me.

The most recent attmped was Fetish Classic

1. Create a new directory titled Fetish under your Everquest II\UI directory. By default...
c:\program files\sony\everquest II\ui\Fetish
2. Open Notepad and copy/paste the following 2 lines of code
cl_ui_subdir UI/
cl_ui_skinname Fetish
3. Save AS eq2.ini to
c:\program files\sony\everquest II\
4. Install and run the EQ2MAP auto-updater found at http://www.eq2interface.com/download...fo.php?id=3509
5. Unzip the contents of this archive into the Fetish directory, replacing all files when prompted.


I am running eq2 in english

In c:\program files\sony\everquest II\ui\Fetish are there a bunch of xml files or is there just another folder? Also make sure the images folder in the Fetish zip isnt being lost.

There are a bunch of XML Files.

There is an images folder in c:\program files\sony\everquest II\ui\Fetish

and insdie that folder are two more folders...Maps and icons.

Just for clarity sakes, there are image files in the image directory?

In the icon folder I have icon_map3.dds

and in the Maps folder I have EQ2MAP files.

The xml icon files for Fetish are directly in the Fetish Folder.
