Copying UI layouts between toons
 

Nowadays, whenever I create a new toon, a dialog pops up asking me which UI interface layout I wish to use (and it lists the names of past and present toons I already have).

My question is this: Can this be done in-game via some slash command or another. I just downloaded a new UI and set it up for my main toon. Now when I log onto another toon, the UI is all jumbled up. It would be really nice if I could just type in a comand to make it arrange itself like the first toon I set it up for.

Any ideas?

/load_uisettings will bring the window up for you to choose the layout of another character.

And if you're one who likes to update all characters from your main when you adjust things, you can macro it for a specific file.

/load_uisettings server_char_eq2_uisettings.ini

Just have the filename there and it's supposed to load it directly, no popup.
