Eq2Maps saved in wrong File Location?

Hi all...was so excited about getting the new updater map mod -- but when I download it and unzip...somehow I must be putting the wrong path or something. It upzips completely but when it goes to the auto to open up eq I get the following message:

"There was an error trying to launch Everquest II. This could be an indication that this file has been placed in the incorrect location. Please open EQ 2 manually."

When I did open/launch my game as usual...the ingame maps were the same limited ones I had before.

This is no doubt something simple/stupid and I am just not figuring it out since I am so frustrated! Anyone have time to walk me through possible ideas on why it isn't loading/ or what path I should be keying in for it to work in game? Thanks so much. My friend used the download from here, it went to his desktop, he unzipped it and it opened, updated and launched his eq2 game and he was raving about these great maps...he is a vet and doesn't 'need' the maps, I am a young one and NEED, NEED, NEED these great maps. Please help! Thanks so much. :o

Open up eq2map updater, click on the option button and there you will find an option to supply the path to EverQuest 2. Use the browse button to browse to eq2 directory. Once that is done, go back to the main page and click on update. Then it 'should' install eq2map in the correct place and make all the needed adjustments. :)
