Tradeskill cost tracker
I've designed a spreadsheet to help me track the costs of tradeskilling and profits. Currently I've only set it up for Alchemy and Provisioning. What I would like to know is if anyone else has seen similar tools? (I've seen ones in the past, but didn't like them, prompting to create my own.) Is there interest enough in this to expand it for all classes?
Ideally, I would like to turn it into a helper app similar to CombatStats that pulls information directly from log files. I am also considering adding an interface for the market boards that will track items up for sale and create a chart similar to stocks and commodities. (That may be wishful thinking. SOE may not allow that kind of access to the market information without violating the policy on scripts and macros.) I'm not sure where to go with this, but I think it can be more. Feedback is most welcome! |
The only thing I've seen relating to this is EQ2 Crafters Tool Of course, that doesn't pull off from log files, but its nice for ballparking large orders. :]

Thanks for the response
Wow! I checked out the site. The program does just about everything, it looks like. I am going to have to check it out.
Wish I had seen this six months ago. I put a good deal of work into the spreadsheet and working on the program. Ah, well, I can still use mine when I want, and was a good practice of design skills :) |
