Change Escape Key for chat
 

Is it possible to change what happens when you press the "Escape" key while typing text?

Currently while you are typing in the ChatInput area, when you press the "Escape" key (or if you have it set, when you hold down a direction key), the ChatInput loses focus and all of what you were typing gets deleted.

What I would like to do is be able to press the "Escape" key and have it lose focus, but not have my text get deleted. Maybe just set focus to the ChatDisplay area?

When I want to stop typing, it is usually because I just want to pause long enough to move away from an enemy or change direction while running. I don't want to take my hands off the keyboard and click the mouse just to change direction.

EDIT: If it is also possible to change the key that would cause it to just lose focus, that would also work. I have noticed that some of the chat key commands like Ctrl-X and such overwrite the action that would normally be performed if you werent in ChatInput. Being able to just press something like the "Tab" key and have it lose focus would great too.

I take it this is not possible. I will try feedbacking it to SOE and hope. :(
