LU's and UI updates...

Hi, new here and a complete newb when it comes to UI's. Just wondering about how long it usually takes after a LU (Live Update) in EQ2 before the artists provide patches to make the UI's useable again? I know it's probably different for each LU depending how much they change the game, just looking for an idea on how long I should expect to wait before I get to use these WONDERFUL interfaces (like Fetish Nightfall!) after today's LU.
Thank you in advance for not roasting me alive in reply...

Most times you can expect updates within a week, but it really depends on the extent of the changes - I think most of the "full set" developers play on Test, so they are usually up to speed even before the patch goes live.

Edit : Typos

ThorUI AU is "usually" updated and ready for the new interface files during the LU downtime unless I'm able to release them ahead of time.

The Auto Updater provided by Mr. Nice allows for everything to update automatically for the user. ;)

During rare occurances when there is a mojor file structure change the most a user is required to do is delete the thorui folder in the UI directory and relaunch the updater so the new files can be downloaded.

But of course you have to like the UI in the first place. :p

Welcome to the community and happy Custom UI using!
And I HAVE to say, Love your signature picture!!!

I don't mod, but I do use the custom pieces provided. First thing I do when I know there's going to be an LU is check here. I can usually find any patches I need that same day or within a day or two at most.

Dunno if it's cool to admit it, but I cheered inside when none of the interfaces I've worked on were listed in the changed files today... :p

Bah, I spoke too soon. Looks like they added hooks to achievement xp into the xp window. Now, to decide whether to display 4 seperate experiences in one window, or let the user choose the 3 they want...
