? log file
is there a mod or could one be made that would log when you collect a "?"
it would put the cords, current zone, and item found in a log. i always forget where i found stuff and dont feel like making a spreed sheet for this yet. or i use the eq2 map auto update version it would be nice if there was a legend/layer that i could turn on and off. then i could toggel a "record" mode on to log "?" collected but it would have to be able to have a radius to append to an existing map marker. then it could list all the items found in that areas "?" on one marker and there could some sort of percentage breakdown to mark the drops as common to rare. situation: in ROV the "?" in first northern most room (by half pint help quest) drops alot of pristine shards but also will drop glowing shards occasionally so if the marker could update with the following example: collection marker: common pristine shard of conjurtion pristin shard of abjurtion rare glowing shard of abjurtion the rare and common could be dictated by a percentage of collected items. you could maybe also add the strength of the percentage by adding a total to the top. i.e. collection marker: 30 common pristine shard of conjurtion pristin shard of abjurtion rare glowing shard of abjurtion the 30 repreasents the total amount of items collected from that area. thats all p.s. i have only been playing eq2 for about 2 months now, and i just found this site about 3 days ago, i didnt know you could mod the interface. i showed some people in my clan (i mean guild..UT habits) that have been playing eq for over a year and they were amazed. |
