issues with my new UI

Well, i recently got a laptop to play on occasionally, and decided it was time to change my UI up a little. the laptop is widescreen, so my res is 1280x800.

i have 2 issues: 1) every xp bar that i does not show properly. i see the bar, but when it comes to the percentages/time/etc on the right side, parts of it are cut off. even when i resize the bar fully, with frames, without frames--i cant figure out whats wrong. i.e. the xp percentage i like goes to the tenth of a percent. but for some reason the tenth (99.x) gets run together with the decimal. same with whatever font is on the right side, they just seem to overlap or something.

2) my target/implied target windows. my buddy started using agathorn's mergeable raid stacking window, and i love it too, except that for some reason, i cant see the spells that are on my targets. im a mezzer, so this is pretty important, but no matter how many times i uninstall all my UI, and re-install it, i never see them. my buddy, however has the exact same UI, and sees them fine.

any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think it might be...

A video issue. As in you do not have a powerful enough video card/chipset/video memory in your laptop. Your friend is probably using the UI on a normal PC correct? He probably has a good video card in his system. It takes a high end laptop to play this game is what I have noticed. Just my 2 cents worth. Some laptops video can be upgraded, may be worth a look.

well, the laptop has a pretty sufficient card/memory. its a 128 pro turbo radeon dedicated card. doubt thats 100% of the problem

Hmmm

Have you maybe tried running it at a slightly lower res? Like maybe 1024x800?
or 1024x768? Just a thought, sounds like you do have an adequate video in that laptop. Not sure what else it might be, maybe some in game settings? Odd to say the least. :)

Not real sure what you mean by cut off. Cut off as it running of the screen or cut of as in half the word is there?

The UIBuilder doesn't display the UI the way the game does. Text will be a tad bit gibber in the game so you need to allow for that. Never make the text object just fit the text or it will be cut off in game. Displaying exp percentages is tricky and I never could get it right the 1st time untill I created my own fixed font for it.
