Dual Monitors
i was wondering if there is a mod or could be one made.
i know with dual monitors i could stretch eq to cove both screens but it centers my charector in the middle of the stretch. what would be cool if i could stretch it but keep the viewable playing area on one monitor and keep menus on the other |
Not possible.

Cruddy work-around:
Position the UI monitor on top of the gameview monitor in the control panel. Keep all of your windows in the top half of the screen. Stretch and position the window so that -The UI is in the "top" monitor -The game-viewable area is in the "bottom" monitor -with unused game window space hanging off the bottom. |
Except that makes the game lag like crazy, in my experience.
Plus, I've never had the commands work right that are supposed to lock the UI portion of the widescreen strips to the top or bottom, so you end up with your character right at the split. |

Dual Monitors and window mode
Hey all. I have a dual monitor setup (just bought it yesterday) and I was wondering if there is anyway to prevent EQ2 from going to window mode when you use say a web browser on the other screen. Currently I use EQ2 in full screen mode and when I bring focus to the web browser the EQ2 window goes into window mode and I have to reset back to full screen. Any way to prevent this? Sorry for the dual posting on multiple threads. Just wanted to make sure this got answered.
Thanks! |
No, that's not possible.
