Error launching updater and no maps in-game
I'm probably doing something wrong, and I want to know what it is. I get this error message when I launch the auto-updater.
"Application has generated and exception that could not be handled. Process id=0xb3c (2876), Thread id=0xb40 (2880) Click OK to terminate the application..." Problem #2: No maps are showing up in-game. The UI is there, with waypoint at the bottom and coordinates entry function (obviously from EQ2Map), but there is no actual graphic for the zone. I followed all the directions for installing the UI mod and the updater, including installing .NET framework 2.0. |
bump, I need help with this pretty desperately.

I have a simular problem. I only have the standard maps when in game. Due to problems I had with Sony patcher I deleted the game and reloaded it to my F: drive. Now I have the game working again the map updater goes to C:/program files/Sony/EverQuest II/UI/EQ2map. Currentlly the file folder is now in F:/Sony/EverQuest II/UI/EQ2map.
Any way to change the destination? Thanks Ivan |
