vertical lines above map
 

my problem is that each time i open a map, the map is shrouded by a pattern of white vertical lines: Example

i see this this effect at all maps not just a few.

update mechanismn and everthing else is fine.

i reinstalled eq2map a serveral times but nothing changed.

are there any suggestions?

Try removing the grid plugin.
