When to and not to post comments on files
This is directed to everyone.
If you have trouble with mods, please check whether the author has created a thread in the Released forum before posting a comment on the file. The comments on the files aren't seen by the author unless he/she opens up his/her mods to LOOK for them. The file comments are for people who are on that page to look at and/or download the interface, not the author. If you wait to praise the mod, bash the mod, point out something important that wasn't in the release notes that the USERS should know, etc., by all means, post a comment. If you have a problem installing the mod, have a bug you want the AUTHOR to fix, have a request for a feature in a future version, etc., check for a thread by the author in the "Released" forum. If there's not one there, send the author a PM. Do not post a comment on the file. It's right there when you click on the Comment button: Quote:
