Missing characters
 

Hi all.

I've tried searching the forums to see if someone has the same problem but I'm still unsure as to whether or not its partly UI problem or the EQ2 installation itself.

I'm currenlty using ThorUI @ home and works flawlessly. I have since got another computer in my rented house and installed EQ2 (All updated-including thorough file scan)

Sorry for sounding like a complete noob but whenever I press PLAY it loads to the camp screen with no characters! It gives me the option create a new character and load any saved soga stuff but thats it. I've tried restarting, re-updating patcher, I even tried copying exaclty what I have on my home computer in hopes that it would work.

Before pressing PLAY on the EQ2 patcher I can see all my character names, level etc.

Am I missing something? I do not understand what I've done incorrectly.

Fresh EQ2 Install
Updated all files on EQ2
[Characters still missing]
[Decided to install ThorUI/ & Thor patcher]
Still no characters?

Just looking at the EQ2 Directory I saw this.

File name: Seay_characters-eu
[Characters]

Within the file itself under characters it is blank? Is this normal?


Wel I hope I have confused anyone, any help would be very much appreciated!

Sounds like you're logging into the EU servers instead of the US servers, or the other way around. Check the language dropdown on the launcher.

I had this feeling it was that but I couldnt find it - never realised it was on the VERY FIRST EULA screen.

Thanks for that- that has fixed my problems!
