My Chat window is completely gone after uploading this? How do I get it back?

I have hit every key, and every combination Key with Alt. I cannot open my chat window at all, have tried to go thru otions have reset all windows, and still not there...what am I not doing??

Don't try just hitting any key, try to type to the chat window. Try to send a tell, or /say something.

The chat window does not exist....can not type to it...can not send a tell or type anything. I type /gu for guild say and my guild window pops up...after installing this chat has completely dissapeared...

Sounds like you may have a corrupt file. I'd suggest deleting the thorui folder in your UI directory and rerun the AU.

Chat Window Missing Some Background
 

The top text line of each chat window has a transparent background, even when I either resize it or mouse-over. The rest of the window background comes on normally when I mouse-over, but that top line stays transparent.

I have the exact same problem. No chat window after loading fetish Mod.

An it aint an issue with hitting the wrong keys. I have changed the window appear/hide keys too for chat, but still no chat window.

Will do a bit more searching to see if I can figure it out.

if pressing / doesn't get you your chat windows, you may need to try rebuilding your window placements file for the character.
aka the charactername_servername_uisettings.ini file in your everquest II directory.
change the name to .bak instead of .ini to make it a "backup file" then log into the game.
You should have a chat window but will need to setup all of your window placements and chat preferences...
