Glowing Trail Thing Disappeared!!!
 

Help!!! How do I get the glowing trail to appear? I had the glowing trail to lead me to my next objective and I did something (must’ve pressed a button or something) and the trail disappeared. Now I can’t get it back! I’ve tried to ask people in-game, but no one will answer me . Can anyone help me out?

The glowing trails are part of waypoints, if you open your waypoints window or click on an icon on your map a trail will appear. A trail will also appear if you type in /waypoint x,z,y (example: /waypoint -200,-10,500).

Why does the waypoint trail disappear if I close my map ?

That would be a question for SOE. However if you close the map using the keyboard command M it doesnt disappear.

What Dolbi said, there isn't any thing we can fix. What I think is happening is, when the window is closed any proccess that it created is freed. Open up a new chat window and type /waypont x, x, x and then close it, and I'm sure the waypoint will go away like it does when you close the map.( I havn't tested that though )

My trail Doe's that to i must leave the map open it only happened since i down loaded the Thor ui.

You should still be able to use it, just don't use the X (Close) button. Use they keyboard shortcut instead.

I've had this problem for months. It's nothing to do with the map project and everything to do with SOE. I've even had it disappear on me completely when it was an auto-quest thing (Blumble's Hole inTS) when I've opened my waypoint window and closed it. Poof! Trail was gone.

Personally, I look to you guys to fix EVERYTHING because my confidence in you is much higher than SOE but this isn't something you can do. /cry
