Getting new LU18 questmarkers with eq2map

Since LU18, NPCs offering a quest near to the player are marked with a orange circle on the map. With eq2map installed, the circle isn't displayed. Is the allready a fix for this issue?

I noticed this as well. I just got off IoR and am looking for all the quests in the city.

I'm pretty ignorant about how all this works. What does the above mean? Is there a fix for the quest givers on the map? If so, what do I need to do?

I'm sorry, I just don't get it :-(

It means he's updating the file so that it will work :)

I tried downloading the file today (manual version). There is no change to pre-LU18.

Am I doing sth wrong, or will it take some more time (which is perfectly ok)?

Thx

I got the questgiver icons to work by editing the eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml and putting the icon_map1.dds into the images icons folder. Put the attached xml file in your UI\thorui folder and the dds file in your UI\thorui\images\icons folder. If you are using a different skin substitute it for "thorui" in the above.

THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL FIX just my hack to get it working until something official comes our way.

Thx, working fine for me

Cheers
