Super Simple Hotbutton Request
 

First let me say a big THANK YOU to all the modders. You guys and gals are all awesome! I have a really simple and easy request (or at least it sounds like one to me :) )

A hot bar with simply no scroll text and no shortcut key display and a numeric display for the icon resize window, and that's it.

Also, does anyone know of a maintained/effects mod that makes these icons just a little bit smaller? I've seen mods with 3/4 and 2/3 but I'm looking for something more like 1/2 or 1/3.

I have a Maintained and Effects window where the Icons are 16 x 16...
Is that whay you mean?

Not sure on the math... let's see they startt at 42 x 42.. 21 x 21 is half... but that doesn't work due to the "by 2" requirements of the icons.

Oh I know...! The icons are about as big as this smiley guy :)

Oh wait... that might be dependant of screen resolution...
You want it smaller than 1/2 or larger?

There's no such requirement. Only the base image the icons are from needs to be a power of 2 width/height. You can size the UI elements and/or the portion of the image you use however you like.

If you did have to have it be a power of 2, 42 wouldn't work anyway. :p

I have had no luck in getting icons to actually show if they are not divisible by 2... And odd division doesn't appear to work... I.E. 18x18 doesn't work as it divides down to 9x9.. which is no longer divisible.

This just might be my screwy logic, but I read a post stating that to get icons to show they had to be divisible by two... So I have been following that rule.

It was, in fact, the only thing that resolved an issue where icons were not showing up.. I dunno.. I don't pretend to know what I am doing I just keep reading and making minor changes to the default.
