some plug ins are not working such as the minimap
 

the minimap and ive head some other plug ins are not working correctly.
i think the the error log i got when i tryed to open the mainhud_map file might have something to do with it.

Yes EQ2MAPS is going through some updates to bring it up to the current standards and added features. At this time the map window is patched so it works and looks like the current default UI. Once all the updates go live, pluggin authors will need to update their pluggin to work with the new EQ2MAP. Although EQ2MAP will work the same, some of its structure and structure functions have changed do to the way SOE has restructure the window layouts.

Is this why the Mini-map and grid lines haven't worked in a while?

I would guess so.

Again, plugin authors will need to update their mod once the new EQ2MAPs is released. Some may not needed updated some will need updated.
