wanna pick this up and continue this project? i figured i'd start asking now cuz i just can't get enough of streamlined borders and Jaxel quit, so we (the people who love this UI) need someone to continue to update this! just to give an idea of what's not working (keep in mind i don't use every mod in his UI set), here's a small list...

windows not working properly as of LU#16:

- Inventory
- Persona (details portion to be specific)
- Claim
- Options
- Merchant
- Store (really really need this 1 back... the option to search an item on broker w/ 1 click was absolutely amazing, would set up my store in under 2mins)


i'm sure there's more that's not working perfectly, but this is just for starter's and to also see if there is a brave soul out there who would want to continue this UI set. btw, i (or others who love this UI) can give specific details to everything broken if requested by an author who wants to pick up this project.

i'll be hoping and praying...

The ThorUI already includes a couple of his pieces. (Yes I will be updating them soon)

as much as i love the work you and all the other authors do around here, I really like the simplicity in OCD-Advanced. I love the default look but w/ every border stream-lined on every window.

i don't expect you to maintain 2 different UI sets, so hopefully there's someone out there who will pick this 1 up full time. ;)

You may select just one piece if you wanted. ;)

Jaxel quit, Crap. I've used a lot of the UI's here and I kept coming back to OCD. I find the startbutton mod an invaluable tool. And I have been forced to use some other windows to make the mod work now. I cannot seem to find an LU16 Claim Window.

I look at the Complete Sets download section and the ThorUI is listed below OCD. If you are updating it, then please show it in the Complete Sets section. Maybe I'll go back to ThorUI.

I'll try a stab at this one guys. It would be my first "real mod" (my other ones were simple resizing). I'll look into getting those windows fixed for you guys ASAP. Keep in mind, it might take a while (or I may give up all together depending...) so we'll see how it goes. I haven't looked at code ever, and barely used the UIBuilder, just so you guys know my background.

I personally use(d) Profit's, so maybe I can grab references from that for it.

EDIT - If you guys can give me the errors and breakdown of what is wrong with the UI, that would save me a lot of time. I don't pay attention to most things, and I hardly used Jaxel's UI for the most part so...Let me know!

here's a short list of fux0red windows since LU#16:

- inventory: this is a 3-in-1 window that will probably be hard for you to work with if you've only been resizing windows. function 1) a regular inventory window + stats on right side of window. function 2) stats overlay'd onto the paperdoll portion of window, save space. function 3) weps (ranged too) slots + charm slots + ammo + bags showing only.
- bug: currently in old inventory window format, needs repositioning on almost every slot. add food/drink slots. of course will need to be stream-lined.

- persona: nothing fancy here, stream-lined.
- bug: no scroll bar on right side of window, account age not showing in details section.

- claim: nothing fancy here, stream-lined.
- bug: eq2 will not allow this window to even pop up post LU#16. old UI mod message pops up.

- options: nothing fancy here, stream-lined.
- bug: no scroll bar on right side of window.

- merchant: nothing fancy here, stream-lined.
- bug: no scroll bar on right side of window.

- store: this is a regular stream-lined version of the store window, w/ a twist. added features include a "search" button on the store window that allows you to search for an item on broker in apartment w/ 1 click. VERY USEFUL!!
- bug: window is majorly fux0red, shows store log upon opening, can't change to store or merchant tabs. right scroll bar missing.


doh! that's all i can remember being broken as of now, please keep in mind i don't use every Jaxel mod he includes in his mod set. hopefully other jaxel fans can add to the broken list here.

Alright I'll see what I can do with this. I've been really busy lately (school and sports after school) so I don't know how much time I'll have to actually sit down and work on this.

It's hard having school, a job, a sport, and a girlfriend to please. I don't see how you guys manage to do this if you're married.... :P

My solution is easy Kamintar, my wife not only games with me, she helps design the combos and UI parts we use for our games and our kids games. :D

My wife plays EQ2 also. That's how "I" do it :) RAR! :)

Cheap entertainment. You have to admit... Roughly $40.00 for the both of us playing EQ2 per month VS the amount of money you'd spend monthly if you "weren't" playing IE -- bowling / movies / shooting pool / clubbing / restaurants / etc :)

I've been tinkering around with this and I have the inventory almost finished. I'll post it once I'm done. (I'll have to convince my wife to let me take my comp on our trip out of town over the holiday). I'm also working on the Store window but have been having trouble getting it to work properly. I've been so busy playing I have only halfheartedly worked on them. I'm hoping that if I don't get it someone will. OCD rocks and I'm hoping it doesn't die.

Uploaded inventory patch tonight. If it doesn't show up soon I'll post it on the interface pieces. (Might put it there anyway.) Hope it works for everyone.

Why has Jaxel quit then???

Coz there was way too many UI breaking updates? Or just sick of EQ2 ? This first I have heard of this likes.... Sad to see as his UI was damn good / still is

And the problems that have cropped up aint that hard to fix just time taking thats all... Only one that springs to mind that would need a bit of a window re-think is the effects in the target pages now... Funny I did a mod for some dude on here to make the OCD player window look like the target one and I found it agai a few hours ago whilst having a clear out of old files lol .. And though to myself... HMMM , I wonder how the #### Jaxel will get round that one within the same style lol..

Personaly I dont use this UI... Of course I use my own Laffs Lite .. but I realy do like the style of OCD it is 1st class...

Sorry I cant take this UI on as I have 3 others to maintain but if my help is needed from whoever decides to take it over then give me a shout !... I will assist in anyway I can... Even for the sake of just seeing this UI up and running again at full steam :)

Ok, I added a patch to the OCD complete set for the 3 way inventory and I just uploaded it as a stand alone piece. I'll be working on the Store window next. This one has been a bit tougher so I'm not sure how long it will be before I am able to upload it. I have no coding or xml training, so I'm learning on the fly and Jaxel used some fairly advanced ideas. Wish me luck.
