Problem with EQ2 Map saving information from previous zones.

First off, I'd like to say I love the program. There's only one problem with it so far. It seems there is a bug that makes eq2map save waypoints and zone locations from previous zones I was in. For example, if I zone from Thundering Steppes to Ruins of Varsoon, and bring up my map, it will show waypoints from Thundering Steppes and Ruins of Varsoon. The map will be of Ruins of Varsoon, but with both Thundering Stepps and Ruins of Varsoon waypoints. I hope this makes sense.

Taco-Man,

Thanks for the speedy reply. I'm not sure where the fetish plug-in is located. I checked the EQ2map folder and my custom UI folder and cannot seem to find any files with such name. I'm using the Thor UI if this helps at all.

yes, the thor ui has that plugin installed normally, i dont recall what file(s) that paticular plugin uses but you can try asking in the thor ui thread or if you are lucky someone who knows the answer might respond here. .....oh, and the only reason you got a speedy reply is because i never went to bed and nobody is really awake yet here :D

I am running the latest Fetish UI, and I have the same problem: POI carryover from one map to the next.

I believe what taco-man is saying to do is:
a) Go to your <custom-UI>/eq2map directory.
b) There are five files there called "plugin_<i>.xml".
c) Rename all five of these (so you can restore, if you want).
d) Rerun the EQ2MAP installer, which will download five "placeholder"
versions of these files.

That should, I believe, remove any non-EQ2MAP plugins from the EQ2MAP.

The Fetish UI uses two of these plugins, and Mahonri's POI-toggle uses another.

I have just done this, and will report here if it does not work. If it does, I will try putting Mahonri's plugin file back in.

FYI: You can look in your custom-UI's ZIP/RAR file to see which of the five plugins it uses, by searching for the "plugin_<i>.xml" file name.
