UI works but...
I'm trying to set up Fetish Nightfall. I get the UI to work, but the multiple windows are stacked or not in the correct place. This is my first time trying to load a UI into EQ2. However, from experience with EQ UIs this was normally caused by the resolution not being set correctly with the UI and the game. I double checked both the game and made sure I was using the correct resolution for the UI.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, very much. Flimsi |
Did you add the ini file for your character specifcally? This is not the EQ2.ini file. This is more like the eq2_uisettings_servername_charactername.ini file. I know thats not the right name but that is basically what file you are missing. In the UI that you downloaded there should be a file included that you can rename to your server and character and drop that directly into the EQ2 folder. This will move all the windows to the respective positions, or should. :)

accutally when i installed nightfall for the first time i didnt have to do anything to my char settings file but if your using eq2maps you need to set it to update the fetish folder and not the default. That is all i had to do (using 1024x860 res.) And if not using the maps program i dont know what to tell ya but you do also need to make sure that your eq2.ini is correct.

I checked both of your suggestions and they are set correctly. I have no idea what it could be.
But, yes. I am using eq2maps. Do you think uninstalling eq2maps would solve the problem? Flimsi |
