Merchant Glitch
 

I am using Jaxel's Complete UI, it rocks! However with todays new patches, the merchant windows are glitching, only allowing me to view the Buy tab and not the Sell or Repair tabs. Hope this can be fixed soon!

it will not matter what UI you are using as they all will do this until the modders get their files updated to match up with todays update. and that is not the only thing that is now bad...

Yep I have the same issues with Merchants. Damn inconvenient!!

I use Fetishnightfall 4.5

Is there a simple fix we can do for this or will we have to wait for the modders to have chance at it? If it's not hard I'd give it a try as I have fixed them before with help here :)

Simply delete the following file from your Custom UI Dir...

eq2ui_inventory_merchant.xml

It will revert you to the default SoE working one until you're able to get a fix from the Mod author of your chocie (Fetish / Zonx is my personal favorite, with a mixture of Milquist, OCD, Mook and a few other author's pieces), hehe.

Also, custom guild windows broke as well, so delete that file also.

Any other items we should revert back to default? So far I have only had problem with the Merchant window and Guild window.

Both times a revert fixed it.

Also for those using Fetish Nightfall 4.7 (And I suppose Fetish Standard 4.7)

Copy the files ...

eq2ui_inventory_guildbank.xml
eq2ui_inventory_trade.xml

From the Default Directory to your Custom Fetish UI directory.

Bank will stay as the Fetish Nightfall Bank, though the Guild Bank will revert to SOE Default. Also the Trade window, which seems to work, does not show coin added to the window if a person is paying you for an item when they add coin to the window. Copying the eq2ui_inventory_trade.xml across will fix this. Default SOE Trade window

NEVER NEVER EVER do this, it will cause problems down the road. just delete those 2 files from your custom ui folder if you want to use the default ones

After an admittedly quick check last night, I noticed no problems at all with the Milquetowst Guild Window. Is there something I need to fix that I just didn't see?

lol worked fine for me, though I see your point, next update will cause problems with these files when Default UI is updated by SOE

Agree with you on that one,

But then Zonx always comes out with a fix 24 hours later to fix this =p

Have used this method ever time there is a major update.

Dont like going and willy nilly deleting files until im sure of the correct ones to delete lol. Hence I wrote the above with the presumption (My Bad) that people were competent in having a backup of the original CUI in this case Fetish Nightfall and can simply copy the files needed back.

Oh well, seemed to help out about 20 peeps that I know use it, was either that or not play for a day.

So to calm the Taco, those who know what they are doing the above method is fine, those who are not sure, please dont go playing with your UI directory, lol

Alas if you know the right files cause the problem, delete them, dont just copy them over unless you have a good memory of which ones you have.
