Pls add on an option to toggle.....

Pls add on an option to toggle off/on all the little dots ( places of interests, quests etc ) on your maps, its a great function but sometimes it clutters a map and it makes it look bad...

We're working on it.

It requires significant backend changes to the website, so it won't be out soon, but we should have SOMETHING eventually.

Personally what I would want is a step further: I'd love to be able to toggle between the in-game (default) maps and yours. It should be possible via the loaduifiles command when that is working (one UI with the map mob, one without) but at the moment I can't see a way of swapping without relogging.

I'm not sure what you mean.

We have not recreated any map that SOE has in-game. In the case where SOE has not provided a map, you either have our map of the zone or you have NO map of the zone.

The POIs are not part of the map. We've written code to toggle them off, by class and entirely.

if you guys are using a database to store all the poi's that it shouldent be to hard to mod the site to accomidate sorting the poi's
run a sort and split out the egsisting database and write sql statements that use the allready egsisting poi type drop down box variable returns to sort the poi's then mod the output script sligtly so that it put the poi's under their proper catagories for the ui file format that manhori helped make

id do the last part then id shut down the site rearrange the data pase put in the new sql statements and start the site back up. 2 days maby 4 if you take your time making shure everything is just right. id make a good weekend project.

i may be wrong about how that all works but i belive thats how my dad worked with his databases.

We already have the code for toggleing the different type of POI's on and off in game. Its been worked on for awhile and will be released (not going to give time frame). Its not as easy as you say but it is possible because its being done right now in the dev version.
