Losing image in UIBuilder
While designing, every now an then I'll lose the image of an item I'm developing... Nothing seemed to change but I can't get it back.
It doesn't appear to be a front/back issue. I can turn off everything and only turn on the one item and the image just doesn't display. Has anyone else had this problem? It seems to be mainly related to Styles calling a Namespace image frame. Perhaps it because there is no insert for an imageFrame so I copy and paste an existing one????? (belay that I found the stupid imageFrame insert) Still why does it do this? Help it's driving me nuts, I would have been done with my page 8 hrs ago but I keep trying to get these stupid namespace/images to display. Thx Da_Nah |
Clicking onthe refresh button on the UI builder can loose fonts and image displays that you had to start with .. and only closing the UI builder and restarting it will display them again..
Also somtimes if you copy and paste a style it will loose the first part of the path data in the window that calls it... Hence loosing the image so to speak, You just need to correct the path info... There is so many interesting quirks in the UI builder that it is hard to pin point exactly what you are trying to say lol (well for me anyways) Also check that the style / whatever you have pasted still refers to the correct location IE you have a progress style and a progress fill, does the progress style still point to the progress fill? Hope this of some help m8 :) |
Thanks id did seem to be a pathing issue.
I forced it to the exact location and it trimmed everything but what it needed. I had OpenControl - namespace with Open and Closed the OpenStyle had Open and Closed when it really needed OpenControl.Open and OpenControl.Closed |
Lol yeh part of the learning process with the Ui Builder m8 , It can do some well usefull things and also on the other side of the coin it can do some real damage to your code.... Trial and error realy lol
Anyways, Pleased to hear you found the problem :) |
