you most likely dont have your firewall configured properly to allow the updater to connect to the internet, or you are not connected to the internet when you are running the updater.

Being that I own two network consulting firms this is highly unlikely...

It is config's properly and the program was working fine yesterday...it's not today...

I followed the error message that came up and clicked the link and posted it is all...I figured they (those who wrote it) wanted to know when problems arise...

In any case, that's a good first stab at troubleshooting it but not the case at all...

Addition: I just fixed it by deleting all of the files that were DL'd yesterday and running the program again...thanks for the help!!

Or you could pull your head out of your arse for 2 minutes and realise that Taco made the updater for free, with his own free time, and then posts here to help people get it working, and the thanks he gets is a complete tosser (i.e. you) decides to be all high and mighty.

So, feel free to jump off your high horse for a second, and realise no one cares what you do for a living, no one went "wow, this guy owns two network consulting firms, he must be so cool", and im amazed taco didn't just tell you where to stick it. Guess he is just nicer than I am.
