Updater freezes on launch.
 

Hi there.

I run 2 Pc's of the same internet connection. One was fine with DoF upate the other was not. On this machine I had to uninstall my Internet Security to make it work. I then installed the new 1.0.6 Updater and it worked fine.

After re installing my Security Centre it will not work at all.

The Updater window opens up and then freezes.

So far I have tried turining the security centre off and still to no avail. I had this problem before the DoF patch and ignored it. Now I have gotten it working without the Security package I am pretty sure this is the problem.

The suite is F~Secure. As supplied by Tesco.net

Also in the firewall list Eq2map is set to allow/allow.

Any advice is more than needed and most welcomed :))

all i can really tell you is that the updater needs the permission to access the internet, apparently your security center is doing something to block it, and as i am not familiar with your security center i cant tell you how to properly configure it :(
