Cant Get Custom UI To Work
 

Right I've been using custom UI's forever in this game and most recently the Profit set. I have the latest set of files for the UI but for some reason I cannot get the darn thing to load.

I have all the proper things... Profit dir in the UI dir, eq2.ini file not changed, uisettings file in the eq dir etc etc I even deleted the whole Profit dir and reinstalled with and without the map mod. Nothing.

Whenever I load the game whatever I do, the default UI appears. I must have setup 6 or 7 different UI's while I've been playing this but I cannot get this to work since yesterdays patch.

I also cant understand where its storing my ui settings, as I moved the default windows around so I could at least play the game but my uisettings file never changed in modified date even though the changes I made load up fine everytime. Is ui locations stored in a different place now and not in the uisettings file or something?

Please help if you can as I just cant work with the default UI :)

Anyone have this "phantom fix"? If so please post it. There are others of us in the same boat and we just are not as "swift" as you are.

Didnt expect any replies to this one...

Im embarrassed to say it but I actually installed DoF onto a different drive to my main EQ2 folder. I wondered why it took so long to download the patches as it downloaded all the sound packs again even though i already had them. Checked my file location for the EQ2 shortcut and I'd installed it to the wrong drive and had two installs of EQ2.
