Just wondering if it would be possible to mod the map so you can zoom in and out?

I don't think so.

when you change the size of the map to something other than the default size the icons/your location arrow will be in the wrong spot.

Eq2 Map Zooming / Magnification Work Around

After looking for a mod that would allow zooming of EQ2 Map,,, it struck me!

Windows HAS a nifty Magification Tool in the Accessories/Accessibility Folder!

And it WORKS!

Magnification level is adjustable, as well as magnification window level. Of course, it may not work if you run the game in Full Screen, but as I don't, WHOOT!!!
