Im lost here please help
 

I followed step by step directions for ExtremeUI downloading and installing. When i go into the game, I have no new interface help me what am i doing wrong?

At a guess I'd say you didn't edit/create the EQ2.ini file located in your main Everquest2 folder. Create a new one using a text editor if there is not one there already. It should have two lines as follows:

cl_ui_skinname eXtremeUI
cl_ui_subdir UI/

Guessing on the "eXtremeUI" you may have to change that to whatever the sub-folder of your UI folder is for that particular interface. Good luck!
