What steps did you take to install the interface? If you list them we can then see maybe what parts of the installation you’re having trouble with.

i downloaded it to the desktop, i made a file under eq2 UI. inside the UI file i made a file and i extracted it all into that file. I made the .ini file and i copied and pasted what was said to do in the directions except with the diamond instead of the example. I copied the INI folder from the UI folder to under the Everquest 2 directory. I also copied the whole folder that i had extracted into it as well. I tried putting the .ini file lines backwards. No matter what i do, and what instructions i follow i cant get it to work.

Thank You for your patience!

Should look like so:
C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\UI\FantasyUI\*all files here*
eq2.ini should be in the EverQuest II directory.

You could install the ThorUI to see how the files are supposed to be placed as it's pretty simplistic.
Once you figure it out just uninstall it and give the Fantasy UI another go.

I got the ThorUI to work wonderfuly :D . I redid the fantasy one from scratch copying the thor and it still doesn't work. sooooo... not sure what's going on there. I've heard alot of nice things about the ui but wanna see for myself lol. I'm going to dl a diff one and see if it is just the fantasy or if i truly do suck lol. Thank you for your patience and help! :o

PS I just tried another custom and had the same problem. It must be something I'm doing...I created the folder, did the .ini thing and no worky lol. so...in conclusion yes i do suck lol. :p

Hmmm two things I can think of at the moment.

Make sure you arnt putting the interface files in a sub folder of your custom folder. example:

Good: C:\..\Everquest II\UI\bobsui\ {all the xml files here}
Bad: C:\..\Everquest II\UI\bobsui\bobsui\ {all the xml files here}

Also you cant have a space in your custom interface folder name. example:

Good: bobsui
Bad: bobs ui

Thats all I can think of at the moment. You may also want to try the UI installer program by Ger. http://www.eq2interface.com/download...fo.php?id=3529
