Existing interface is messed, and causes EQ2 application to crash
 

I have installed EQ2 map updater version, and everything updated fine. When I run EQ the user interface is missing text in many places ( such as the menu screen ), exp bar is missing data, ext. After about 5 mins everquest crashes. I have .NET framework, and know that I have installed in the correct directories. Any idea what would be causing this? Thanks.

delete your eq2.ini file and delete the eq2map (or wahtever your custom folder is) and then re-run the updater, and make sure it doesnt have any errors when it downloads.
