Problem with today's update
 

At least I think its todays. I ran the map updater then tried to logg into EQ2. It downloaded the new EQ2 update, but when it started up the game before my char could logg in the whole game shutdown. Tried again, game shut down again. Restarted my computer and tried again. Still shutdown. Had this same problem when I dowloaded the newest version of EQmapupdater. None of my guildies on the guild site are reporting any problems due to the EQ2 update, so the only difference is my running the updater. Anyone else having this problem, and what can I do about it?

I have no problems... I dont think its a eq2map problem as nothing with the map interface has changed in this patch.

Try going to "options" on the updater and then choose "Re-Download All Files".

I re dowloaded everything and it still crashes on me. I played EQ2 on Sunday night and had no trouble then. I hadn't run EQupdater in a while though.

I had the same problem. It appears to be the custom interface I'm using, hotbar and Xp bar. I recieved the following:

[PM from Inyore] If you're crashing when loading it's suspected that your custom UI might be the issue. Please make a copy of your UI folder and Ini.file before deleteing, create a zip file and then send that to [email protected].

The above cleared up the problem but am now using the larger hotbat icons until I can figure out to get the smaller ones back.

EQmap is working with the above fix.

Yeah the problem is not with EQ2Map you must be running an interface that as an out of date eq2ui.xml (eq2map does not have this file). Read the bold text in the news on the front page for more info.

Custom UI Error
 

Certain custom UI's crash the game. The Fenix UI is one of them. Just delete your custom UI and you should log on just fine.

Yeah I am using the Fetish one, how do i go about deleting it correctly.

Kk I deleted my Fetish folder from the UI folder. I logged onto EQ2 and it worked, though i do miss the Ui's from the Fetish. One problem though I thought maybe yall might be able to help me fix. My bags in my inventory are all cut off on the right side, so I can't see or choose anything on that side. Anyone know how I can fix this? And are there any custom UIs that will work with the new updated EQ2?
