Hey yall im having a problem "along with several peeps in my guild" we load a custome UI or re config exsisting one, but every time we log off the next time we get back on it has reverted back to defult. I may be doing somthing wrong as i am new to this whole UI thing but any info yall might beable to give will be very much apreciated

Assuming you have placed the custom UI in its own directory under the /UI directory in the Everquest folder, the possible problem may lie in a file named EQ2.ini (found in your main Everquest directory). It directs the game to a specific custom UI location in the /UI folder. for example, mine is set to read:

cl_ui_skinname Kobara
cl_ui_subdir UI/
cl_letter_box_amount 0.110000
letterbox_frame_visible false

My custom UI is placed in a subdirectory under the /UI folder called /Kobara. So you can revise the above file in any text editor to read whatever your directory is called in place of my first line name of Kobara and it should point your game to the custom UI every time you log in.

If it does not, then there may be another issue at work.

cl_letter_box_amount 0.110000
letterbox_frame_visible false

These two lines are not needed unless u just dont want the letterbox area, I for one use the letterbox area to hold my ui windows so not to over lay on the screen.
