dangerous file found in my eq2map folder
 

Just a heads up to people using this UI, I believe I may have goten a bad file in an update that set off my virus detection. If this is nothing then I am sorry but it tells me that the file: \UI\EQ2MAP\eq2map\icons_befallen_3.html contains backdoor.netget.a

There are no html files in the icon xml directory where eq2map downloads from. Also I'm not sure how a html file it self could harbor a Trojan. Its just a markup language and doesn’t get executed, just like xml.

Anyways with all reports of virus's I've scanned the EQ2Map site where the patcher gets the files with the latest defs using linux clamscan.

thats file is not from the updater, the only file with that name is icons_befallen_3.xml there are no html files at all. you probably have some virus that is spreading itself to other folders and creating files. all i can do is assure you that there is no file the updater gets that is named icons_befallen_3.html. ther is a file named icons_befallen_3.xml but its extension is xml not html.
